Hi, I’m Jake Rich.
Photographer, travel filmmaker, and storyteller. Jake began his career in online content after graduating with a diploma in sound production at Brisbane’s SAE Institue. Whilst studying, he was drawn to producing, podcasting, and presenting and spent his early years volunteering on Brisbane’s community radio station, 4ZZZ.
Awarded the title of Best Upcoming Presenter in 2014 through Simon Cowell’s ‘The You Generation’ YouTube network, his video submission launched his career in digital media and kickstarted his own YouTube channel.
Amid studying for his Bachelor of Design, he was cast and starred in the 2014 reality TV series Big Brother, as a housemate and spent the following years working as a lead content creator for Gelato Messina, analyzing and understanding digital audiences whilst slowly chipping away at his own.
In 2018 he landed the gig as the first Australian global ambassador for youth travel company Contiki. Since then he’s created branded content for Red Bull, Adobe, GoPro, and insta360 and co-launched an online education platform, NotJustColour with his talented partner Anna Chah.
